Hey..

My network is going all wonky in Chrome...it seems find in Explorer..

Any ideas why it would all of a sudden go all crazy?

Can one of you check my site in Chrome so I can see if it's just me?

Odd, because both Chrome and Safari run on Webkit - which makes me think it's not the CSS.

Earlier this morning the page was almost fully loaded but was hanging up waiting for some chat file and the text toolbar never arrived.

I've had the same thing happen.

Excellent point and more frustrating.

I went to your page and look fine to me, you have done a great work. Congrats want to take a look at mine you all are invite to : www.TalenttobeDiscovered.com welcome to join :)

I am using Explorer 9

I agree - its the same problem here - and its only NING, and its ALWAYS with Chrome, on both Mac and PC.

I had the first experience with the disappearing Options Button on Firefox today, but usually it only happens on Chrome (my fave and fastest browser).  Has anyone had an addition difficulty when that happens, with the reply refusing to post?  Yep, instead of opening the reply box, it just throws me to the top of the page.  I'm less optimistic about them correcting the problem, after my last response for the weekend ticket.  The slow down (drag) has been corrected, but they have no solution for the buttons that prevent you from being able to post your site!

yes - several members have been flipped right back to the top of the page, per your comment

Ning is NOT playing well-at ALL with Chrome- and it is VERY frustrating after conniving and begging and pleading with members to load the Chrome browser and dump their IE (per NING) as it being the optimum browser for Ning---well---now we have a fine mess..as even after what ever happened in down time--we are still left with all the same problems and issues

OH! I'm glad to have found this -- I've been experiencing errors with text edit fields/tab and buttons for...two weeks maybe? I thought perhaps some of my custom code had become suddenly outdated and was wreaking havoc with the platform.

Hrm.

Sigh. Well, the "edit" button on events is missing in both Firefox and Chrome, text edit fields sometimes do not work (buttons missing, text cannot be edited in the box or is edited and does not display as such when saved), and some buttons (like the "Save" button in the custom code box, for example) do not work. Also, for some reason the other night a featured blog post kept returning a 404 when clicked from the module on the front page.

So...shenanigans. Wonder what's up and when this will be fixed.

Thanks for this thread, I've had reports from members about all this and that, some say Chrome is ok and others say FF. Some members say the buttons are all not working.

I know I can send tickets but hate doing it every time I get similar SOS from members... I wish Ning at least addresses the symptoms & fixes on one page if not fixes them so that we don't need to go running in circles...........

The same problem. Video module in the main page wrong display in my 2 column site layout, check here.
