Please, please, please can you do something about the color of the network name in the Broadcast Message function. We have zero control over it yet you insist on using disgusting colours. The fact that we have to have it is bad enough but this ....

This is the colour of mine. It's awful!!

If you won't give us control over it, can I suggest that you simply make the default color #000000 or #666666 or something else equally unoffensive on all themes.

Please! It's an easy change to make, maybe 45 seconds of work.

Thanks

SP

It might take a bit more than 45 seconds of work, but I can empathize with you about this detail. I will pass this along.

thanks eric

Hi Eric, until this is amended is there a way of knowing what the colours are before choosing a theme?

Boy, that is a really good question. I believe that color is pulled from your Classic Appearance Editor theme. So, in theory (this is me thinking out loud and not a definitive answer) I think you could go back to your classic theme, find the offending color and change it and then switch back to the Design Studio. That is a seriously hacky answer.

Okay, I just tested it, and it is the "Subheader" color:

Wow, that is some seriously weird UI behaviour. But thank you very much for endeavouring to find out, I'll give it a go. What if a client has never used the classic editor? My guess is they have but what if out of the box they're using the DS?

I knew you were going to ask that. I haven't tested it yet with a newer network that doesn't have the Classic Appearance editor, but I suspect it will pick up a color that is easier to change using one of the color pickers.

Ok, I'll play around with it. Also, ,I've just noticed that the sub header doesn't appear to dictate the font colour, which is actually the problem, rather it changes the background. Or at least that's what your screencap would suggest

Thank you, SweetPotato, for bringing this up again. We remove this today since it didn't have the level of control people needed to use it effectively. Read all about it here
