The Pink Poetry site has been up for around a week now and is reasonably active in terms of visits and content adding. I can understand that it may not be googleable yet, but I cant even find in in an internal ning search. And I dont mean its way donw the list...it simply isnt there! Am I doing something wrong?

Permalink Reply by Sue Coward on October 7, 2010 at 8:33pm Thanks, I will do that, but essentially that is about external searches yes? What is really confusing me is that on the main ning site [not my network site], there is window where you can search for other ning networks. If I type in my network name about 20 other sites come up with titles that are loosley related to the words Pink Poetry, but Pink Poetry itself is not there. Do I need to use google and other tools just to get a ning site listed as part of ning?

Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on October 7, 2010 at 10:16pm Hi, Sue. The internal Ning search is only visible to Network Creators when they are on www.ning.com (which isn't that often), so you probably won't get new members via that search. If you do, they would probably just be other Network Creators. That search is kind of a remnant of the past when that page was visible to all members of Ning Networks. Just something to think about. That said, if you want us to explore further, you can submit a ticket from your Support section.
