Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has ever transferred ownership of their network to someone else.
The reason I as is that a colleague and I have been trying to transfer the ownership of one of his networks and we can not seem to get any communication from the Ning support team.
The transfer was initiated on 23rd December and my colleague received an email saying that the case had been logged and would be dealt with in 48 hours.
He resubmitted the request on earlier this month...same response.
I have emailed the help team directly with all the case details....no response. I have also contacted the team from my network with all details and again just the standard email saying 48 hours.
has anyone out there actually done this and if so what did you have to do.
Many thanks for your comments and suggestions.
Regards
Nigel

Thanks for the idea. I had my hopes lifted for a second there ;-). Alas this will not work as the current owner has several Networks on their Ning account and we only want 1 to be transferred.
Have not tested it on a single network though so anyone else who is trying to transfer a single network might want to give this a try.
Me too same problem. I tried to transfer ownership on 12/14 and never transferred.
Yet they want to bill me for the site that was supposed to be transferred already.
Of course, I can't just cancel the membership that would be too easy.

I think the ID change over has caused a problem which they now can't figure out how to rectify although I can't see why it should be so hard.
The problem with just cancelling the account and using another provider is that the network we want to transfer has a good volume of members and content. Would be a travesty to have to waste that.
