I'm so very thrilled and happy that NING has created the Category feature where administrators may also upload a designated image for each category.
Perhaps someone can help me with creating the correct SIZE to upload for the image?
Perhaps the size on the square is automatically fixed?
Needing help so that the person's face does not get obscured.
VIEW ON THE MAIN PAGE - BADGE SEEMS TO TAKE UP 1/4 of the SQUARE
A LITTLE BETTER ON THE MEMBER'S OWN PAGE
I remember reading something about transparency disabled?

Hope this will help you to solve your problem. You can adjust the height/width to suit your preference.
Paste the code into CSS ADdvanced via My network.
.dy-avatar.dy-avatar-48 > img.dy-badge-image {
width: 12px!important;
height: 12px!important;
}
Permalink Reply by Debby Bruck on April 14, 2012 at 11:36pm Wow! What a sweet heart. I'll give it a try. I entered it into the TOOLS>CUSTOM CODE and I don't see any change at all. Wondering if I did it correctly?
.dy-avatar.dy-avatar-48 > img.dy-badge-image {
width: 6px!important;
height: 6px!important;
}

Custom code is not the right place.
You got to paste it into My network/Manage>Settings>Appearance and save it.
Permalink Reply by Debby Bruck on April 15, 2012 at 12:32am Okay. I relocated and placed in correct place.
I have not had success with any changes to the CSS coding there.
I once tried to turn all the titles into upper case, as it is here. No success.
I just tried to place the code given there to change the avatar size. No success.
thanks anyway. I really give up with it because my NING does not accept any CSS code changes. ~~~~~~ CSS CODES IN ADVANCED --- Strange we can't attach a file
#xg_masthead p#xg_sitename{
font-size:34px;
line-height:1.14em;
font-weight:bold;
padding:20px 0 0 15px;
}
#xg_masthead p#xg_sitedesc {
font-size:24px;
padding:0 0 0 15px;
height:1.5em;
}
#xg_navigation ul li {
font-weight:normal;
}
#xg_navigation ul li span {
padding:0;
display: inline;
}
.xg_module_head h2
h2 {text-transform:uppercase; font-size:20px; color:#5e5e5e; font-weight:normal;}
.xg_module_foot {
border-bottom: 2px solid #C4D2DB;
border-top: 1px solid #C4D2DB;

font-size:14px;
}
.dy-avatar.dy-avatar-48 > img.dy-badge-image {

}

One more method
Copy and paste this code into Custom Code

Permalink Reply by Debby Bruck on April 15, 2012 at 1:15am Hey there. Thanks. Do you see any difference?

Permalink Reply by Debby Bruck on April 15, 2012 at 2:03am Well Diggity Dog - I went to the page and see no difference at all.
Okay. I signed out and went in again as a non-member.
What I learned -- non-members can't see member profile pages. Is that correct? Strange.
Yes, the image above is now working for the BLOG CATEGORY LIST.
The other views are the same, but that's okay. THANKS!

Yes non-members can't see the profiles because you are using javacript code to prevent it.
