Hey Everyone,
Do we have such a thing where by, some form of A widget would pop up and shout the New phrase " You"ve got a New Member to Approve " and a voice greeting message to be automatically sent to the New Member's Inbox
Any Comments please ?
Regards,

When AOL first came out with the "You've got mail" I quickly rid myself of that after the novelty wore off. If you have Admins on your network you might want to ask them if they would like this feature. Now, to answer your question, no, there is no such widget. I said all of the above first because we don't need to give Ning any ideas. LOL! Or, if they did implement such a tool, it should be optional.
As for the other question, that's a no as well, however, since you have your member's email address, you can possibly incorporate such a feature yourself and insert into their comment box. Of course it is manual and not automatic, but it can be done. I too approve all my memberships and I have various scripts I use to welcome members to the network, but it's written and not verbal. It's something to consider though.
Good luck to you and I hope someone can help you out with this.
Cheers,
FedMedic

I totally Agree with you with Regards to Aol's phrase sure, which has been borrowed to shorten the subject really, and the Aim is to utilise the word used by Ning "custom social Networks" .
As this is not really a very far fetch script to add to all NC's Dashboards :-) .. and that is really not a Value Added thing to charge for ,, as all our Mobile and GSM communication
providers in Europe and the Middle East are up to the second in sending you
notifications if your credit card has been used, not to mention FB's
SMS Notifications if anyone accessed your Account . the Concept is
important as we are running a Medical Social network, and we do not even
expect our Medics to be close to their screens all the time .
After All I guess , to be in the Medical Social Media service provider side of the coin needs a bit of an effort, and many of the Medical applications around Medics are only appreciated by Medics Only ..
Cheers
