We've been working hard on a brand-new version of your Ning Network's mobile interface. We're happy to say that we're now at a point where we are ready to put this in the Ning Labs section of your dashboard. You can turn it on and off if you want to try it out from there.
We still have some more work to do on this, and we'll keep posting in the Ning Beta Group as we make regular updates.

What's this all about?
If this is the first you've heard of this mobile improvement project, check out this discussion for a bit of the back story. It also covers a few FAQs that people have asked us over time.

Permalink Reply by Denis on June 3, 2012 at 7:45pm I just found something very interesting with the new mobile version of my network.
On the menu, when you choose "My Page" then scroll to the bottom you can see the number of members that have liked your page.
This is a small detail but very useful. I remember posting about it last year.
Question is why can this little not be found on the desktop version of our networks?
Hi Keith,
Add this code into a new text box placed in the right hand column (in the shaded area in your features layout page editor. It looks like this:

Works well for me,
James
EDIT:
Placing in the shaded area makes it show on every page in right hand column.
Permalink Reply by Murray on June 4, 2012 at 12:23pm has anyone added a network logo? mine isn't stretching the image across the entire mobile title bar, it's shrinking it down to only cover about 30% of the bar. anyone else have this issue or a resolution? thanks!!
Hi Murray,
The mobile size will vary per device. See my response in this thread for some details.

Permalink Reply by Peinttaaja.fi on June 5, 2012 at 3:25am I wondered about this too, it seems some of the new headlines and words etc. in the new mobile version are in the language editor, but not all for some reason.

Permalink Reply by Khurshed Dehnugara on June 5, 2012 at 11:16am Looks great and a big step up on the previous version. I like the function that takes people to the last three posts on the discussion threads. Could we have that on the desktop version as well?
Main problem for me is that I use the permalinks a lot from the discussion threads to tweet about or reference elsewhere on the site. When I click a permalink on the mobile it just takes me to the generic thread rather than the specific post I targeted.
Can you fix it?
Thanks very much.
