As most of you know, the previous Logo looked like this(below) and this has been a great direction we took.

Thanks for sharing. I think the new logo is an improvement.
In fact, I think you should consider incorporating the same direction throughout your site. You have an interesting balance I can see you shooting for between pop class and pop art. The new logo tends more to the pop class, and that's right online with what you will find Glam Media/ Glam Social targetting. However, the general design aesthetic of the rest of your site continues to feature the pop art aspect.
I think you should seriously consider going with the cleaner more professional look of white header/page background- kind of like what you have going on here in presenting your new logo. Nice job though, and neat site. Thanks again for sharing.
