Hi All,
Just a note to let you know that today we introduced some updates to the way Events work on Mobile. We've added the ability for your members to RSVP via the mobile interface and respond to invitations. And based on your feedback, we've changed the way the Events list is displayed so that events are now grouped by date. We've included the event start time and location in the listing as well.
We've also made these improvements:
Take a look and let us know what you think. We're continuing to polish mobile up prior to a general release.

Thanks to everyone in Mobile Ning Team. As you develop the Beta I have started to use more the Mobile Version in order to Market it and take advantage of the advanced features to the Mobile Market.
My application is to the Job Mobile Market Place.

Permalink Reply by Ceddy J on July 11, 2012 at 3:45pm Well put David. That's what I keep telling everyone! Our site mobile sites function better than most of the big platforms. Facebook and Twitter are going to be quite envious.
Permalink Reply by Vipster on July 12, 2012 at 2:05am Sorry, Phil. I jumped the gun on perfection. I have one request....
In the date band, instead using the format "July 13, 2012" could we say "Friday - July 13"
Permalink Reply by Vipster on July 12, 2012 at 10:50am ...and the reasoning for this: Members, always know the year an event is happening. However, they might not know the day. Computers know the date. Humans are more aware of the day. Today, is Friday here. I couldn't tell you the date if you asked. It's a clearer reference point.
Permalink Reply by Sean Herman on July 12, 2012 at 10:55am It would be cool if we could take this date, copy/paste it and the actual event from our networks, allowing users to keep it in the calendar app on their personal mobile device. How hard would this be to implement?
Hey David,
Great feedback, thanks.

Also very nice to have more info on the profile pages.
Not using events yet but I'm planning to use, good to see that is already implemented in the web mobile.

I really like it very much.
Phil - my wish is complete. Great work, making Event live now. Can't wait to get feedback from my members.
Phil - what are my options here? Is there a separate language editor option for RSVP mobile version? Or am I SOL since I changed the language of RSVPs to 'Would Like to Attend"?
Formatting issues aside, can we look at possibly breaking out the option to RSVP in it's own button (as well as the bottom bar)? The button can be placed directly under the Event title/organized By info. As it sits now, I'm not sure members will know that that tiny icon on the bottom is how to RSVP. Thoughts?
