Hi NCs,

A few hours ago we added these updates to the Mobile Alpha:

• the ability for more phones to upload photos directly. This should now be working for Android 2.2+ and Blackberry.
• the ability to delete pieces of content (blogs, photos etc) using the Trash Can icon in the action bar.
• the ability for members to Friend one another on profile pages.
• forum detail pages (finally!)

The iPhone unfortunately doesn't allow mobile safari to have access to the phone's photo library.

We could maybe add additional language. One option would be to promote the idea of emailing in photos for those devices that don't support uploading.

IF the massive hurdle of preventing email uploads when using a custom domain name is ever fixed...

what do you mean thats easy to do

i have custiom domains i use mobile email in uploads and  i even have several subdomain email accounts like @shops.dreadlockssite.com the main @dreadlockssite.com are for mobile uploads

Ahh well our main email's are root domain level: [e-mail] , [e-mail] etc...

If you go that route you completely kill the ability of mobile uploads.

For client interactions its easier to remember to email [e-mail] as opposed to [e-mail]

at least in my eyes! Are we on the same page?

you can map 3 domains only 1 needs to be used for mobile uploads so a secondary domain can be used for email but your right u have to use a subdomain on the domain for emails if u use the mobile uploads

although theres nothing to renmmember if u use a  contact form they ue the contact form..and reply they dont have to remember an email at all

plus you can set up the main domains email as a catch all account forwarded to your actual working email  as it is if anyone replies to a broadcast message without a catch all  it goes nowhere but use a catch all and  it forwards [e-mail] to [e-mail]
