Hi All,
Earlier today we released a few mobile updates. Here's what's new:
Member listing and Profile pages
You can now create a Members page in the Mobile section of your dashboard to list your members and allow them to be searched. Members also have profile pages with profile answers and a comment wall.
Photo Swiping
Navigate to see next and previous photos in the photos section by swiping left and right.
Updates to Liking
We've made the Like action happen when you click the like icon, and have added a section in detail pages where you can see a list of people who have liked an item.
Self-Serve Opt-in
If you're not running the alpha on your network but want to try it out, you can turn it on yourself. Just visit:
http://yournetwork.com/main/admin/setMobileVersion
(replace yournetwork.com with the address for your network. Select Mobile 2.0 instead of Mobile 1.0 in the dropdown and click Update Mobile Version.
We're working towards graduating the alpha to Ning Labs, and would love your feedback on what we've built so far.

Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on May 3, 2012 at 11:50pm Hey, Robert. I think Phil's point is that you can't upload a photo directly from your iPhone Safari browser without doing so through an app. Same with Symbian phones, I think. Some phones do not allow for that type of upload. I think that we as everyday consumers often take that detail for granted because we're always uploading photos via apps and not via the phone's browser.

TL;DR is simply Symbian is dead. So don't bother with it Phil.

In the mobile version of www.leycosmica.org/m the bottom of the screen flickers (comes and goes half screen text down).
Another question: I can change the background color and font color?
Hi there,
What device are you using?
There aren't options for changing the background color or font color at the moment.
Thanks,
Phil

Permalink Reply by Julie Hochstadter on May 4, 2012 at 6:29am How do we turn off all mobile pages so my members automatically see the desktop version for now? Where is the management section that allows me to do this?

Permalink Reply by soaringeagle on May 4, 2012 at 8:57am the4re is none and why would you want to? they wont be able to use it properly they have to see the mobile pages
Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on May 4, 2012 at 9:26am Hey, Julie. You can't do this with the current mobile version. We're all here in this discussion talking about the alpha version that people are testing. Not sure if that is what you mean, but if you're using the new alpha version, delete all of the mobile pages. That should do it.
