Hi Eric,

To be honest, your site needs lot of improvements. The header of your site is distorted. The social icons are big and alignment is not done properly. The slider design is vanishing because of description.

Would not constitute these couple of quick fixes as “lot” of improvements; do you or anyone have more for me.  I can take it….

hi eric - i would look into a better graphic for your banner. The one you have isnt sharp .  I know not everyone has the ability or budget for professional graphics, but perhaps you could use something here: http://www.flamingtext.com/     you can make a logo or image to use as your banner and they even have an animated flames font which I am not generally a fan of, but you might like it given the name of your site.

I also thing making the banner and surrounding space a bit smaller (more narrow) would be helpful in getting more of your content 'above the fold'.
