• Activity Feed UI Clean-Up
• RSS Feeds in Network Activity Feed
• Twitter Search in Social Feeds & New Activity Indicator
• Chat Product Finalization and Updates.
• Improved Member Management Interface
• Top News added to Latest Activity Feed

And big decisions:

• NC’s For Hire
• Changes to the NING Mini Plan
• Creators Digest is now Every Other Week
• Ning Creators Gets a MakeOver
• Updated Ning logo in network footer
• Brand New Help Center
• EU Cookie Directive
• Removal of Networks that Never Purchased a NING Plan
• NING TOS Changes

Wow, that’s quite a bit of success for this year! Good job NING!

Well the Roadmap still has some items on it and whether or not they will be finished before the year-end we are unaware, but that can’t stop us from wishing away for 2013! What would you love to see developed on NING in 2013 in addition to what’s on the current Roadmap?

My Dreams:

• On-Site Notifications – Similar concept to Facebook
• Profile Page update – Make it look more classy, sleek, and new layout options.
• Friends only activity feed
• Updated Photo and Video player so they can be accessed via mobile

Banner management application - you can use to serve and track banner ads on your site.

Point system to check most active users

Point system is another great one as well as being able to create free gifts for our members or at they should be free for the NC's and Admins so we could create trophies, awards, badges or anything to give to our most active members.

Lots of improvements it's got be said. Well done Ning.

One gripe, as mentioned elsewhere, some key things that were on the roadmap have not seen the light of day, whereas things that were not even mentioned have sprung up. blog enhancements and third party commenting (with approval at member level) being some.

They are much more than diaries, they are a place for more elaborate articles.

Better Groups management tools.

• Merge groups
• Orphan groups: replace Creators by Owners which could then be changed
• Access to groups home page layouts
• Ability to add existing network static pages to Group's Pages list

Even better Members management:

• Add Last Visit column to Manage Members
• Admins can PM all members

Improve Music player:

• Embed individual music tracks.

Overall improvement:

• Add permalinks to all comments

Nice list! Wouldn't it be great if groups could have their own photo, events, video section etc.
