NING APPS THAT ACTUALLY WORK?

I've tried so many of the Apps provided by Ning, and always end up dismantling them, because none of them ever work properly, or as advertised, or they are dead or broken installations, or they do not integrate well with the site, or they are clunky, or they end up being backdoors for spam ads from third-parties, and there is absolutely no support for any of them that I've tried (just check out the plethora of complaints that go unnoticed in the app market's comments for each app).

Can anyone recommend or share which apps they might be using that do actually work, integrate well, and do something beneficial for your community?

It seems like such a waste of services being offered, so I would really like to try to use some of them that might work well.

Thanks, Alex. It's great to have a list that might help point us to ones that work.

I'm using Member's Map, as well. And other than the constant prompts for purchasing a pro map, it's been pretty stable.

I don't see Skysa offered as an app, though. Where is that?

The best for my networks used to be Mindjolt Games but they dumped Ning last year. Sigh!

TokBox still works? Last I tried it, they had halted all of their usual embeds, or they were a mess. I'll have to experiment with them again. Thanks.

Oh okay, but that's not a Ning App. Glad it works. On a side note, I really don't like those third-party add-on bars. They make a site look so cheap and sloppy to me, but maybe they'll win me over sometime.

I have been using the Contact Page App for several years and is great for having a way for visitors/members to contact the site admin and help avoid spam. however I agree that I wish Ning would quickly clean up this section. There should be many, many more apps available to network creators. What can be done to increase the quality and #?
