Ning search results does not or cannot find words I know are there

Members of my network are complaining. They can't find stuffs on our network through ning search bar, even though the word is there. This is the case on every ning network. It there something I can do on my part to improve my users experience while searching for terms or expressions on the network ?

I have indeed installed Google Custom search but the search results need to be refined and the google bot does not find recently posted stuff.

Is there any chance we are going to have a better search engine soon on ning ?

I am waiting for an answer since last time.
I suppose there are a bunch of us in that same situation following a server move (I read somewhere).
This render my network totally useless because we are a discussion based network and we need to reference past discussions quite a lot. My users have more or less given up on the search bar and have started using Google search to find stuffs on my network. Which is quite a drag. I hope Ning adress this issue and come up with a solution. I am sure they will. They are at work on it, I'm sure.
Mine isn't working either. I typed in something, then went and opened a topic I knew had that word, and just to be sure (since Ning search is very sensitive and won't pick up the same work with different capitalization or anything), I copied and pasted that tag into the search engine... It still didn't find it! Very frustrating!
Ning has yet to update me on this.
I just poked them a minute ago.

I'm still seeing the same problem and had filed an issue as well. This is a major problem as search is key.
Hi all,

I've posted an announcement about search improvements here. Thanks!
Ning seems to have forgotten about me. And keep in mind, I paid for premium support.
Hey Ragots!

We have definitely not forgotten about you. Thanks for sending along the example over the weekend—I am looking at this now.

For premium support, we answer each new case within 24 hours (M-F) and then follow up as quickly as we can with further investigations. This varies from case-to-case, depending on the issue.

Thanks,
Courtenay
