I opened more than one week ago a ticket, that the NING community search is not working. The answer from the NING stuff: Sorry to hear that you're running into some issues with Search. It looks like the automatic reindexing that's supposed to happen is lagging, so I've gone ahead and forced it to reindex manually. Search should start to right itself again over the next few hours, but please let me know if you're not seeing more complete results returned 24 hours from now, and I'd be happy to look into things further!

Okay ... today I have to report the same issue. I can't find entries which are indexed by Google, Bing and Yahoo Search. Did NING stopped the automatic reindexing to save money ? Or what ios the reason that NING runs a Google site search here on Creators, ignores a request by Jen to improve the Community Search and I have seen some other threads with the same issue. Could NING maybe implement by default a Google or Bing site search ?
My right hand column text box is slightly too narrow for this. The Search box is nicely shaped on the left end, but extends into the void on the right. How can we control the width of the box?

This is the line of code to look for.
The 25 refers to the chacters/spaces visible in box and the 255 refers to the max number. Reducing the 25 will shorten the box. You will find that different browsers will show it slightly differently. ...a bit to left or right...not so perfectly lined up in one as another .. minor variation that I haven't been to fix absolutely and probably not worth the effort!
