I didn't receive email for 9 hours. Did you?
I did some tests: the emails I send are not arriving. Emails are delayed in their routing I guess.

I have the same problem... help please. thanks!
No messages being sent/recieved ticket no. 00712262
I have members paying for content in private groups that are not receiving notifications, and events to promote. This is urgent. Thanks.
Still no notifications this morning. No emails via my Ning network since May 20th. Ticket #00711168
I've just sent a broadcast message. And receive this same message few minutes later!
The system seems to be working now!
Nothing on my end, just placed a message in one of my groups, sent a broadcast and shared a group none went out.
Is it only Pro that has phone support? Nevermind answered my own question yes only Pro.
i want money back! may be this is a sign...
is it time to change to grou.ps??
Thanks. It still isn't working from me and has been about 72 hours. I am starting to get messages from my members expressing concern. I know Ning is working on fixing this (and they indicated on the Ning Blog Status that a fix has been is applied and should be working within 24 hours), but we are losing income. Perhaps once this is fixed, Ning can offer pro members maybe an extra week or two of membership or something. Anyway hope it gets worked soon.
I do feel like I've explained glitches so many times to my members about various things that don't work on my site, many have left and gone to Facebook which really hurts since my site is private and there is no sharing from my site to FB. I love all of the options and scripts that NING has to offer, but I am quite concerned that so many break often. :( And $600 a year is ... well...things should work.
Not only email from primary Site is not being sent. Group Messages are not working either.
This problem has more than a month. I have reported it 3 times. I got tired of getting same canned responses.
Today is May 23, 2012 and same thing. You really have a BIG PROBLEM.
"May 7, 2012 at 5:22pmResponse (Ning Help Center)Hi Justino,
I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing this issue with messages not being received. Our engineering team has resolved this issue affecting email notifications on the Ning platform. Our servers were not sending messages properly, so they went ahead and restarted them and messages were then queued for delivery. At present, all email notifications are being sent out as expected, though some may experience delays as older messages affected by the issue are queued to be delivered first.
We understand that email notifications are a vital part of your community and member experience, so we are working on ramping up procedures so that we can better prevent messaging issues in the future. If you continue to experience this issue beyond today, please let us know about a specific case.
The following information will allow us to investigate further:
• a link to the profile page of a member who reported not receiving a particular notification from the network
• the kind of notification and /or the subject line of the email your member should have received (if they know it)
• the time/ date/ timezone when this message should have been sent out
• the email address your member should have received this notification at
After we have this information, we'll be able to investigate further.
Just wanted to update everyone with the latest info about this issue. I am told this is fixed and that we've successfully restored all messaging systems.
I know full well that some of you will reply back strongly disagreeing with me, but I wanted to provide an update and let you know where we are right now. Right now, our team is going through all of the reports that have been submitted via the ticketing process, and they are looking to reproduce specific networks' inability to deliver messages. So far, they haven't been able to reproduce this issue (that is, all messages they are testing are going through), so that is good news. But, we want to continue to run down every report today to confirm that messaging is working as expected.
If you intend to submit a ticket going forward or want to update any tickets you've submitted, this is wonderful information for us that we use to can check and verify:
Obviously, this information isn't always at hand or even available at all, and we totally understand if you aren't able to provide that level of detail. But, if you are, we'll love you for it.
