Notifications
I really suggest we get a notification bar for all members. Despite recieving the email, when a member join the site they should recieve an automatic inbox message that welcomes them, instead of seeing in their email inbox.
Also members should get notification as to whether someone commented on their status, profile, uploaded picture/video etc. This give them a sense that the website is active since their last visit. Although they can see it else where but a notification alerting them will be better..

I also strongly suggest that the notifications alerts (including mostly what is not sent by email: likes on my posts, comments on my status, etc.) should be put in the roadmap!
PS: the Ning roadmap is quite empty now (about the future developments)... looking for inspiration Ning? :)

We NEED in-house notifications for members!
Similar to facebook..it will increase activity LOADS Im sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
