A few weeks ago, Brian Floe had a great feature request —  to add a drop-down menu to the network bar, giving NCs direct access to all their manage pages.

It's simple, easy to do, and makes site management easier — we love it, and we're going to roll it out soon. In the meantime, we had one product question we wanted to ask. Would you rather see all Dashboard items in one list, or have a sub-nav? See the mockups for what I mean.

My vote is for Option A, because it's probably worth seeing everything at once, even if it does make the list pretty long. Also, we think there are ways we can optimize this organization going forward, so we're not super-committed to keeping the current structure. Might not make sense to set up a sub-nav if we're going to change it later.

With that in mind let us know what you feel — this is a feature for NCs by NCs :)

A please!!

I'd go for Option B.

Those of us with a 768 pixel height on our laptops might struggle with A.

Great :)

Option A but with more indentation (is that the right word?) to enhance overview.

You got some hustle in your floe. Congrats on getting this to be adopted as quickly as it did.
Yes, Brian, good idea. I vote for A with more indentation too!
The long version please!

A I guess.

Because I wouldn't even know what's underneath each menu in B.

I mean, what's the meaning of "Settings" everything you can change are settings :D

A poll is good, but it's also good to hear everyone's reasoning.
Option B:)
option B

B=B=B=B=B

Would you keep the big icon panel? I like that looks like Mac OS'

I like option B better as it allows for the addition of more menu options down the line. The relatively long list today may end up being twice as long, three times as long, or even more a year from now, two years from now, etc.
