Options button disappearing and reappearing

I created some pages last week, and wanted to edit them. I looked for the options button in the upper right hand corner of each page, but this button had disappeaered. All was there was Add. The only way I could edit these page is if I went to All Pages, and then a little edit link popped up to the right of each page. The option button seemed to reappear inexplicably. 

I'm now experiencing this same problem with discussion forum posts, only there is no work around for finding a way to edit these posts. This happens in Chrome and in Safari. 

Has anyone else noticed this? Never had this problem before...

yep same here, i am having the same issue, try different browser Lucy, or you can edit your content by adding this on your url "/edit" 

example:

 http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/options-button-disappearing-a.../edit
