Photo format for download
When saving a photo you plan on downloading as your header, background or anywhere on your site, what is the best extension to use?

Well Eric, there is no official Best format but most people prefer PNG format (Allows transparency also small file size). It's between PNG and JP(E)G but it's more up to personal preference.

PNG!
JPG is better if you have a real photo that has a lot of gradation in color or tone (as opposed to flat color). But, if you're using a logo or illustration, I recommend PNG.
