Photo SEO and New Ning Site
Howdy! I've got a new Ning site at http://www.bbqbackyard.com - it seems to be going well for first few days.
2 questions!
One - would appreciate any guidance/advice - please visit the site and let me know best practices that might improve.
Two - the Photo RSS feed doesnt work with Google Webmaster under the sitemaps - is there a way to work around this? Already have a lot of great photos there, and dont want to not have them show up.

my first advice is avoid too much RSS of any kind, it can slow your site down a ton. Images are likely worse than than text rss.
that said, im with solo, i want that recipe. somehow, that description reminded me of Voodoo donuts of West coast USA fame, people in those parts know EXACTLY what i mean, anyone else, you are missing out. The Bacon maple bar is simply in a world all its own. see their website HERE.
All that said, i love EVERYTHING about your network, what a killer idea! I'd love for you to come to mine and create a group and totally promote your network, i'll promote the group on our facebook, twitter and via mass email. I'll send you the info via a friend request.

If you are NOT using the built in Photo Gallery system, but manually adding the photos to blogs and discussions, add your photos like this. Search Engines crawl the "ALT TEXT" on images. Good luck!
