popular pics page

some of you may have changed the default slideshow on the main page to a 1 or more row  photo display since the slideshow slows page load somewhat

but you might still wish you had the slideshow as an option

well ive used the embed code edited out the link code (you dont need a see more like this link on your own site)  and adjust the size

i added a small version on my splash page but then created a large version on a seperate "popular pics" page

aded a lil simple css to spice it up a tad and  add it to your menu tabs

www.dreadlockssite.com/main here i changed the slideshow to a single row of pics for fastest load times

and heres the new page with the large slideshow

i wrapped the slideshow embed code in a div and adjusted the size

heres the code but note this is my slideshows code  replace it with your slideshows embed code and adjust the size this  size is for the 2 collumn layout

note for networks that are photography sites using the full page width might be worth trying for a more dramatic effect

I love it do you know how page views  are computed since its an auto slide slow with an option to click manually. Meaning that if I just watch all 100 images on auto  does it count as 1 page view or a 100?

yes its just 1 page view

just kike if you load a page with a video and rhe video has thousands of frames 

this is a slideshow of 100 images but the page only loads once

dreads are not my thing as  i have a billiardball-hairstyle =>(

I have taken over our webside not so long ago and are really a rookie and all the programlanguage looks like double dutch to me. And i'm only single dutch, so to do major surgery on the site  scares me a lot.

We ( mijnzaanstreek.ning.com) are an dutch fotosite with the emphasis on the region we are living in. So to have a sliteshow of the top100-pictures would look awesome.

If i would have a go on this slideshow am i running the risk off ending up with a mess?
