Private Chat

Is there a way to allow multiple people in a private chat?  I have had several requests for that.  Sometimes when you get so many people in the main chat room a few want to carry on  a private conversation - which I know 2 people can do now.  But sometimes 3 or 4 people want to be in a private chat - currantly that doesn't seem to be an option. 

Any suggestions?

I have started to use Chatroll instead, works great so far.

Yes Get a free skype account.

I've checked with support and it's all on 1 or 1 on 1.

I don't understand this company they just twiddle with small stuff. Chatroom is supposed to really be the main in the moment social interaction. What did they do with this 'New' Chat feature add sound?? Yet the real need in expanding this feature was never addressed.

I don't know and I don't mean to be a nit picker, NING is a wonderful invaluable platform but, I expected better from the chat, for example I was really looking forward to better administrative controls, not just ban from chat. For example chat transcripts and better admin controls like making members wait a certain period of time or have a certain number of activity (forum/blog posts) before being able to access chat...I really don't see the difference between this chat and the old chat, it just looks prettier.

Since the chat allows CSS I wonder if there is a way to do that by using CSS? to where you have to have a certain amount of posts on the site before being able to access chat.
