Quick question - How do I change the "blogs" subpage to "articles"?

I've changed everything I could find in the language editor from "blog(s)" to "article(s)" as well as the tab setting. 

But the pages still read vfxg.org/profiles/blogs/article-title

Is this possible to change?

I'd very much like it to read vfxg.org/articles/article-title or at a minimum, vfxg.org/profiles/articles

Hi! Please, can anyone tell me if this is possible? I have a few freelance contributors who have just begun to write for my site, and I'd very much rather have their work appear to be classified as articles, not blog posts.

For instance, this http://vfxg.org/profiles/blogs/the-visual-effects-of-total-recall is not a blog post and I really don't want it to look like one.

I'm with you, Kristy. I changed every instance of "blog" to "article" in the Language Editor (though I made the tab "News & Articles). It seems to me that what you're trying to do may have to be done via the Tabs & Pages settings. However, I think if you change the url, it will link to a nonexistent page.

Hopefully someone with a better handle on this will respond to your discussion.

Thanks for jumping in, Patrick. I've looked at the Tabs & Pages options, and there doesn't seem to be any way to change the "blogs" subpage name. 

I'm a bit desperate to change it from "blogs" to "articles," and I know there simply MUST be a way...

You know, my head has not been in the right place these past few weeks, otherwise I would have understood your question here. Ugh!  

There is no way to change the sub-domain. You're talking about yoursitename/profiles/blog/list? Want to change it to yoursitename/profiles/articles/list, yes? Can't be done.

Hey, Kristy. You are trying to change the URLs, is that it? Unfortunately, I don't think that's possible. This is something we're aware of and may be able to fix with the current blog improvements we're working on.

Yes. I would very much like to change the URLs. Of course, at the point that it becomes possible, I will have to break a lot of links. So I was hoping I could do it sooner rather than later. 

What's the ETA on the blog improvements? Will it be some sort of fusion with Glam's content publishing tools?

I hope to update the roadmap in the next week or so to show both more info and to re-prioritize some things. I don't mean to sidestep your question, but we're actually prioritizing stuff for the rest of the year, like, right now (you may see some more things pop up on there). The blog re-do is already in motion and is a major project. But, it won't be done in the coming weeks. More like a month or two for sure.

Hehe...no problem. That sounds great! Actually, a month or two would be sooner than I thought. There's a lot of work to be done for each of these improvements, I know you guys don't have magic wands. 

Come to think of it, maybe you should forget the roadmap and just start work on some wands already. ;)
