I have a MAJOR issue with the members photos appearing in the Sign In/ Sign Up Box. I was sucessful in changing the number of members and customized the "So and So is a Social Network". Not everyone adores having their photos plastered on some internet sign in/sign up page. Does anyone have a signed "release " stating that Ning has the right to use photo in this manner? My site is PRIVATE, but the world can see photos when signing up. Think about it. Thanks.

Try this Dr. in your Design Studio:
.signin-about .thumbs img {
display: none;
}
cheers.

You can place it inside your Appearance Editor (CSS Box) or the Design Studio (My Network->Appearance, Add Custom CSS or if you're using Developer Mode: the right side text box not the Less Code) I recommend inserting it at the last line of your current style code.
Try it first on your test network and see how it goes. Hope this helps.

Ok, revise and put the !important override rule like this
.signin-about .thumbs img {
display: none !important;
}
this should work now..

Dr Trocar,
If your network is set to private, the member avatars should not be displayed as part of the settings. Anyway, you can try the updated code above posted.

Ok no worries, sure thing Dr!
good day.
For reference: Just tried the updated code on the Appearance section and it works.

Hey Doc, yeah that sounds great. glad it worked finally.
sure, anytime and have a good one!
