Hi everyone. I am trying to remove a tab from my main page. I have followed the instructions and really it should be so easy. But when I press save changes the same tab comes back. I cannot rename the tab or move it. Any suggestions. Darryl

I don't think you can remove a tab from just one page. You can remove a feature, but that will remove it from the entire site. If it is a question of removing a feature, go to my network/settings/features layout. Drag the feature you don't want to spotted rectangle.
If it is a page you created and then gave a name to, first go to the page, click OPTIONS, then DELETE THIS PAGE. Then go to MY NETWORK/settings/tabs & pages. Then delete that tab, which now has no page to link to. While the page exists, apparently, the tab for it stays up.
Thank you. I have deleted the page first and it has been removed. Then I went to Tabs and Pages and hit the x in the right hand corner to delete the tab. It then disappears, but as soon as I press save changes the old tab re appears.
Permalink Reply by Jayne on November 4, 2011 at 5:23am What is the tab you want removed? some tabs can't be removed, if it is a tab that CAN be removed are you saving, silly question I know, but it's easily forgotten, or sometimes your browser might not finish the save...
But all you should need to do is find in Tabs & pages the tab you want to remove, then click the little x to the right of it. and save.
