Hi,
I've noticed when members upload a new profile photo the old one still remains.
Is it possible to delete out old unwanted profile photos?
I have upset users complaining that these images are still available to google search results.

One thing to note, though, is that I don't think these images would be available in Google search results with any identifying information. So, for example, if you changed your profile photo here on Creators, Google would ultimately not associate you, "complience" with this image:

I think all Google will have to index is this string of letters and numbers.

Thanks for replying
I find it strange that the image data is not purged.. if not for security then just good database management.
Your right that my avatar is not linked to my name (probably because my profile does give out much personal data)
But yours certainly is and so are my members.

I've reset the users avatar and had them upload a new one.
Also changed their profile privacy settings to friends only.
The image still remains and is publicly accessible, so this is a security flaw.
Can I ask support purge one particular image that is of concern while the Dev guys look into it?
Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on December 10, 2012 at 9:06am I don't know if I would say this is a security flaw, but I always encourage people to contact our support team. They can probably help with this. So, please do.
