Requests for Messages & Message Broadcast

On Message Broadcast, we need the ability to center the text without having to use HTML, which most of our members don't know.

On regular Messages, we need to be able to select text color and font size. 

For both Message Broadcast & Messaging, we need to be able to indent paragraphs without having to use HTML.

For regular Messages, we need to be able to send "Cc:" and "Bcc:" so recipients don't get confused about whether a message is specifically for them or to another member with them just being an "FYI".

Hey Linda!

Thanks for the feedback. Centering text actually doesn't work well in emails, because many email clients won't display the text centered even though the code is there, so we removed that tool. I understand you'd like to indent text as well, but that wasn't a feature we added to the editor because other tools appeared higher priority to add.

We'll keep the rest of your feedback in mind as well.

For a writing site, the ability to add indentures to paragraphs would be icing on our "editor cake".   (Not essential but would be an aesthetic improvement.)

I also have some requests for messages, which come from one of my users, and I agree with her:

can Ning messaging be more like Facebook messaging in the following ways:

friends pictures appear as you begin to type their names

you can forward the message to a mobile device

clean aesthetic

nicer styling and less space between message chain history. should look like more like iPhone text history or FB message history (styled and easy to review), and less like email history (unstyed text, hard to review).

also, would be great to be able to reply via email (like Basecamp) or text in stead of having to log in on to Ning for a quick reply.
