Since launching Ning Mini, Plus and Pro on July 20, thousands of you have selected a plan for your Ning Network.  If you have already chosen a plan, thank you for deciding to continue to grow your community on the Ning Platform.
 
A number of you have also contacted us after you purchased a plan requesting to alter your subscription.  The Advocacy Team has been working hard to accommodate your requests, but due to the high volume we haven’t been able to respond to all of you as quickly as we would like.  If this has impacted you, I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.  Yesterday we released two changes which will help us respond much faster to your requests.
 
Change Your Subscription from Monthly to Annual Billing

If you chose a monthly plan but intended to select the annual option to take advantage of the discount, you can now change your plan by going to Ning.com.  Sign-in and click on “Plans & Billing” to see your current subscriptions and make changes.   Locate the Ning Network you would like to change from monthly to annual, and click on the “Change Plan” link next to it.  Click the “Switch to Annual Billing” link in the light box and you are all set.
 



More Efficient Advocacy Tools

Our engineers also released significant improvements to the administrative tools Advocacy uses to make other changes to your subscriptions.  With these new tools, we plan to work quickly through the backlog of requests through the weekend and into next week.   We have made it our first priority and will accommodate all subscription change requests as quickly as possible.

Thanks for this article and I have gone to that page but couldn't get wha I wanted..
What I want is the opposite, switch from the pro yearly payment option I selected before to the pro monthly payment option.
Is this possible? I have already sent three tickets to the help center to no avail.

Does this hopefully point the way to an upgrade path for Ning Mini and Ning Plus accounts when they begin to grow outside of their plan's limits?

Ok, i found the link in the image and maybe things have changed since I last read this but I remembered a post saying that if you are using the Ning plus for 5 months, for example, that there wasn't a way to upgrade to Ning pro.

The example shows a network that hasn't even picked a plan yet. I guess I am referring to upgrade in a different way. Are you saying this is not just for people who ave made mistakes in choosing their plan or choosing their plan for the first time before August 20 but also beyond.

Actually, the screenshot shows what happens when you click "Change Plan" on a network that already has a plan. The user in the screenshot just clicked "Change Plan" for the Outdoor Music Festivals network, which has Ning Plus. Otherwise, your only option would be to "Pick a Plan," as shown by the "Your Network" below.

As shown in the screenshot, you can upgrade your plan at any time.

It is better for me to pay a large annual billing at the end of the year. I'm thinking about paying monthly for two or three months and then upgrade to the yearly billing option.

Will the annual billing option still be available at the same discounted rate in Oct/Nov?

I believe annual billing will still be available, but I can't promise the same discount will apply.
I have signed up for the yearly plan and wanted the monthly plan please help I have turned in several tickets to no avail...I want to be billed monthly for now. Please advise. I upgraded and there was no button to select monthly...as a result my bank account has been frozen due to the fact that you applied the whole amount to my account.
Hello, Lady! If you've submitted a ticket, there's no need to submit additional tickets. We're working our way toward you. We'll be able to make this change for you, I'm sure.
