I would like to add a simple icon to the bottom of my main page that returns to the top of the page. Any help would be appreciated bearing in mind I am not a programmer. Thanks.

Permalink Reply by Kos on December 7, 2011 at 2:48pm Open up the attachment below. You can cut/paste this code into the bottom of your Custom Code on your site and it will display the grey arrow you see here. I also have a lighter blue one if you'd like. Both are on a transparent background so it doesn't matter what the background is of your site. If you prefer blue, just cut out the http:......... URL within the code and replace it with this:
http://api.ning.com/files/6-WefJf479l*u2EYJnY1JnV9KRcpl34awLgLzlVGp...

Test it once inserted and let me know if you experience any difficulties.

Permalink Reply by Mat on December 7, 2011 at 2:51pm Don't use Java, it will slow your page down, just use this simple code.
replace the url with your network name.
<a href='http://url.ning.com/#''><img src='http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/13/Red_Arrow_Up.svg' width="28" height="26" style='position: fixed; bottom: 24px; right: 2px;'></a>

Permalink Reply by Michael Thompson on December 8, 2011 at 1:56pm Mat,
I gave this a try on my network. It takes me to the top of the home page no matter which page I am on. Is that how it is supposed to work? Or should it take me to the top of whatever current page I am on.

Permalink Reply by Kos on December 10, 2011 at 8:43am Larry you could install a Skysa bar on your site. One of the apps they offer is a "scroll to top". Some apps are free, others require subscription but it's very simple to design and install. Check them out @ http://skysa.com
