Dear Colleagues
Greetings. We are beginning to experiment with structured video chats on my network. What we would like is to have regular sessions open to all members that sometimes would be informal and others times have a structured topic or guest.
We would like to be able to record the videos, get transcripts and then edit and post a more condensed version on our Youtube Channel and network.
We are experimenting some with Google + which has many great free features. The challenge is it can be a bit tough to learn, and many people are not on Google + (and it is not embeddable into a ning network). I know Ustream can be embedded into a ning network, but not sure of functionality and cost.
I wanted to see what other suggestions members might have for best video chat platforms that have great features and are free or relatively inexpensive?
Thanks
Craig

Opentok no longer available, Tinychat and ooVoo are not functional. There must be a suitable video chat platform.. Ustream doesn't really enable users to chat with each other.
