Is there a way where all email alerts go to the members inbox instead?  That can solve a lot of my community's issues.  My demographic does not use email that much and they barely check it.  Thanks.

How about on-site notifications and email alerts =]

I knew you'd say that, Jords. I think that's the answer everyone here would support: on-site notifications.

Eric, my initial thought was on-site notifications as well, but I knew that's been discussed a ton on here already and was trying to think of a different way to get to notifications without actually having it (huh?).  I mean, I know everyone wants it, but was looking at what ning already offers and trying to get creative to get some sort of fix before an on-site notification setting is built.

What can I say except I'm persistent lol. :) Just hoping it will find its way onto the roadmap after the "new commenting options." =]

[EDIT] Forum Improvements?! No way! That's awesome!! You guys are on a roll! By the way, good job on keeping everyone well informed this year and the regular upkeep to the roadmap is fantastic!

I just heard the best news ever!  Forum improvements!  Is there a discussion for that?

We have a few things on the roadmap now. The main thing is to provide a way to move discussions between forums.

very good

When I send out a broadcast message, which I might have done once or twice, I also make a post of it in our forum under our Announcements.  My message would have a clip of the forum post and a link to it for people to continue reading.  This way, those who come to the network and want to be updated but not check their mail can go right to Announcements.

good idea
