Sending news mails only to members of a certain group

Hello!

How do I send emails (news) only to members of a certain group having the possibility to edit the text, e.g. change the font, size, and to bold, italic, underline etc. 

Is it only possible by commenting the wall? - Or should I create a page calling it: News?

I would also like to save important documents as links in each group that the members should be able to open. Would the answer also be to create a page?

What if I only want to create an event for just one group?

The groups should be functioning as separate working spaces..

Hey, Marie! There's not currently a way to send out emails to different types of members. However... you'll be happy to hear that later today (probably) we'll be introducing member categories, which will allow you to create your own categories for members and message them in a filtered way. You can use the rich text editor or HTML in the same way you can currently use them with Broadcast Messages. 

I'm not sure the other two requests are doable using Groups.
