When you Report an Spammer, then everyone who had previously reported one, will receive the notification and in this way the NC will better prepare to handle the approval request.

1. I use http://rapportive.com hence just mousing over the email of the applicant, http://rapportive.com will tell me if the applicant has public traces on the internet on any social network
2. If http://rapportive.com fails to verify the applicant email, then I run google search for the email applicant

I do this in automatic, even without yet seen the profile of the applicant. In this way I am better prepare to make decisions. Usually Google will display potential traces for the applicants´email.

• Members claim to be in one Country, but his/her IP is from another country.
