Hello everyone!

I want my events to be seperated to these which are created by the creator and the rest which created by the simple members. I decide to do that by labels (something like "member events" and "community events")

so I am trying to create a second event module at my frontpage which displays only the events of members. I know that it is no possible to have two event modules but I am thinking for a code which call the <h3> html element from the page of members' event www.<thecommunity>/events/event/listByType?type=member+events

what do you think about that? any ideas to figure out a solution or an alternative?

thanks!

1.  I'm not a coding person, so I'm always trying to figure out the simplest way to do stuff that doesn't involve code. would it help you to feature only one or the other (member or creator) and then just list the featured events on the main page in the events box?

2.  My other idea would be to mess around with the language editor to see if you can get it to do what you want.  For example, we changed "Featured Members" to "Welcome our Newest Members" - people still get added to that section by us featuring them, but it's got a nicer title to it.  I'm thinking you could something like that to "Featured Events" - change the wording to what you want, then set the text box for events on the main page to only list the featured events. (see suggestion above)

Hello Deb W! thanks for your reply. Your suggestion seams to be a good alternative solution.

The problem is that although I 've futured some of the events, the leaderboard is still empty...

also, as far as I understand the way you suggest it is only for displaying one event box in main page, right?

yes... I can't think of a way to have more than one event box on the main page...
