We would like to increase our members by doing a co registration where users are signing up with us in a different page, ex) they sign up for another network and in the end it will ask "would you also like to sign up with 1001Consejos and send free cards, listen to music, check advice, etc..."
they would fill in all the fields and then that registration would be automatically sent to us into our database through an ftp. This would be the ideal situation.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how this can be done?

Right now the main sign up page is what you have, and the APIs don't allow multi-site or expanded registrations right now but based on what has been posted on the ning blog it sounds like some of those options may be available in the future.
Thanks for the help and I hope the future is here soon :)
Terrific idea Johanna!
Wouldn't this work just copying and pasting the form code on another webpage?
I think the server would receive the data as usual and redirect the visitor to the next page.
But I didn't test yet. Just a thought.

;-)
How can I get the form code? I would love to try that.
From your browser you can click on "page souce" or just "source" somewhere in the menu, this option depends on your browser. Then, it will show you a page with all the codes of the page.
Look for something like "form", and copy everything. Then paste in a new html page.
Probably you will need some notions about html. You can ask a webdesigner to help you if you need.

I will try too, but these days are terrible for me, lack of time... as soon as I try, I post here what I get.

Good lucky! ;-)

This can be accoplished if you need the code i can provide it,  if you want the code for your site just post your ning site url here and ill give you a custom code.

In regards to the css of it you may need to play around with it my code is basic and not attractive.

There is usually only a 2-4 second delay because it is on a different website but the information will be received thur the ning database and user will be redirected to your site.
