So some of my members are having sign up issues ( they are already members) then I saw this note:
"just received an email from Twitter saying I needed to reset my password as my account may have been compromised. It seems legit as the email address is exactly the same as the one I get all my twitter notifications from... and I'm locked out of my account. Has that happened to anyone of you?"
This is another member of mine
I didn't do anything with her account is everything or his her message spam why is the system locking her out I did have it set to approve new members due to the spammers any ideas?

Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on November 7, 2012 at 11:10pm It's hard to know without seeing all of the details. I can say that any message someone got from Twitter about their password would be unrelated to Ning.
The best advice I can give you is to contact our support team and provide as much info as possible so they can hopefully get to the bottom of it.
In most cases (the vast majority), when someone has trouble signing in, it's because they have forgotten their password, which they can always reset.

Permalink Reply by Lisa A Cash Hanson on November 8, 2012 at 7:05am a member reported this that twitter said :Twitter believes you account may have been compromised by a website or service not associated with with twitter we've reset your password.
She hasn't clicked the reset link but when she told me she was also locked out of the community well that's why her twitter password won't work but i"m wondering if twitter did this due to Ning? Just wasn't sure and also not sure if it's a real message from twitter.
