Step 1) create a new middle column text box
Step 2) copy and past the simple slider script into the text box
Step 3) update image file and link locations with your own

In this example I used 500x136 images, but you could make the image height any size, just remember to update the script w/ the new height size.

There are also a few other variables you can control such as speed, slide direction, and weather or not to show the next and previous buttons.

You can also use the code in the Hero Box
for the hero box you'll need to change the height of CSS snippet inside the "Advanced" and the height of the script to match the image size or a few pixie larger depending if you show the buttons

where do you get the script for the simple slider?
Hi solo,
It looks like Kris has added the script as an attachment to the discussion. Thanks for sharing Kris!
How Do You Download Or Get The Code Off The Attachment

Do You Have The Script For The Simple Slider... I Cant Get It Off The Attachment...Or I Dont Know How

Hi Elder Graves,

Click on attachment it should open in its own page. Copy (highlight then right click and choose copy option) then paste to a new word doc or text doc (so that you have it available if things mess up) Then you should be able to also copy it to the text box you've placed in the center column. (it is sized for that width, you can adjust height) and follow the thread for additional instruction.

James

Can you send me the code... cant open attachment... keeps opening in html... email, elderkgraves@aol.com
It opens in html...not the code...can you paste the code in the reply
Elder..........when it opens, highlight it and copy it (Ctrl C or right click-copy) then go paste it into your notepad and save as whatever you want to call it. That way, you have it on hand. Take that code, go paste it under the html tab in your text editor, and work with it to modify it as you prefer.
lol, did not see that
If you're wondering how and where to upload image files, I've come up with a nifty way.

Create a blog post, upload image files to the post, copy the links, and then publish it so only you can see it.
what I do is just add them to my page get the file location and then go back to my page and delete them from the text box

hi, how to i edit the size of the slider, if it is in the script, where do i edit in the script to make it the way i want it, im trying to make it 600x250

thanks so much.

Mike.
