Mine is running at full speed. As we've all learned using the Internet, patience is the virtue here.
I know when I turned it on this morning my site was still down. I went to log into a couple other sites I belong to and thiers was up and running.
Being in the South at one time in my life, ...I would say it's like this. It's kind of like restoring the electricity to a community after a hurricane. Some people will get theirs restored earlier than others. Luckily I lived on a highway near the coast of NC which most of the businesses were on in that small town. So we were always one of the first to get our electricity back.
I'm sure it's going to be the same way after the maintenance they did last night. With a little patience, all will be back up and running at full speed. ...Hang in there.
Thanks Steve and Robert - - I appreciate your response. I think I'll wait a while before submitting a ticket, and see if this gets better. I just checked, and it seemed better just since I created this discussion.
Do you have a benchmark and time frame for how long it's taking to load? Can you tell that it's Ning elements - ie images etc?
When we do platform wide maintenances, all caches are cleared which still shouldn't cause 'slow as molasses' load times, but may take slightly longer with the initial load.
