So I Stumped The Coach [please help]

I've placed a few tickets and have been instructed to ask Creators for assistance [nice, I know]

I tried to upload a header via Advanced Options and it loaded to the left border, rather than center.  It ALSO still shows the default Site name and tag line [which should be obliterated].  btw this the *Embossed* layout.

I have tried all of the following numerous times and Help Desk insists there's nothing wrong with their original CSS.  I think they're wrong.  Any ideas?  [I really don't want to go over to DS b/c I prefer the 3-column layout]

• Tried a diff. browser
• Switched to a diff. layout [which should've wiped out all CSS] and once it was saved, switched back again
• Tried a diff. header
• Tried it via the logo button [see below]
• Removed all Custom Code

Note:  My Test Network comes up in Design Studio and did NOT save my old layout, but that's a whole other story.....that's gone unsolved. :(

Sorry if we aren't able to help with custom implementations. Hopefully, we can find someone here who can uncover some clues to helping solve this for you.

My point to help desk is that it shouldn't be *custom*.  If you've got a button to install a header, it should install properly.  It's not as if I'm *tricking* out the site or anything.

My header doesn't center, and every single code that I've been given doesn't move it one iota.  It's off just enough to look horrible.  I hate the Design Studio.  Just sayin...

Thank you for looking Diane.  Obviously it's not just the Embossed layout that has issues.  What layout at you using in DS?

It looks like it might have something to do with the dimensions of your image. Can you give us a link so we can look at it?

It's been removed for obvious reasons but here you go http://stockbuz.net  It's just the basic Embossed layout.  Everything custom was removed at the time; including custom code.   There was no tweaking in size or coding whatsoever when I took the snapshots [obviously there are some tweaks *now* when you visit the site but the problem is still there when it's stripped down]

That should fit. I saw that you uploaded it through advanced options. You shouldn't have to enter advanced css to upload a header.

Try this:

• Go to design studio
• Click Customize
• Click Header
• Then try uploading it where it says Header Background. 
• If it looks good, dont forget to click publish

I'm not in Design Studio.  I'm trying to keep the old design b/c I want to keep 3 column

You can use a 3 column layout in the design studio. You don't have to use 2 columns, but you have the option to do it if you want. 

There are really a lot more options and it isn't hard to do. I was a little worried about it when it first came out, but I'm really glad that I made the change.
