www.vustudents.net CHAT
- This is one of the major points which create trouble for users. Most significant thing is when we open two, three or more pages in site, then chat feature automatically load into all pages. This is the death situation for computers and students both. Just visualize you have open one Chat room 4 to 7 times. This is the major moment and cause when student literally get fed up and criticize about website terrible speed. I also witnessed PC stop responding for several minutes, Internet browser start eating more and more Ram and further more Processor Usage rises. Chat feature should only work in 1 page. It should not work on other pages. The only solution I found for this situation is to use flash version of chat.
- In the new version of chat typing get freezes most of the time. May be there is a bug.
- When we open home page, auto login into chat should be turned off. It will drop much burden from chat room as well. I have seen lots of members who just stay on the site for browsing but they auto login into chat and it increases the load on chat room.
- Another important point is when we use old flash base chat, the homepage or new ver of chat remain opens it should be auto close. We have to manually close it.
- I just realized there is no option for MOD to delete one or two messages in old flash chat or I am the one who is not getting this option?? Only option I can see is to clear/delete all messages.
- Besides, there is no ignoring option in old flash chat.
- There should be some kind of strainer or window alert for MODS when somebody in the chat room type the URL of other sites or type in CAPS LOCK e.g. a window alert should be appear on MOD screen/webpage. This feature will really come to handy for MODS to handle these kinds of situations in chat room.
- One more idea (not essential but in my opinion it is nice) ASCI words mean stylish nick names should not be permitted in chat. Cause of that is every now and then it is very problematic to read who is typing and what. Numerous stylish nick names appear on the screen. In my case I really have to focus on every single word which is uncomfortable for me nonetheless I am living with that, perhaps it is possible that some peoples out there sense it like me.
- MODS should have the option in chat to change their Fonts and size. Furthermore, MODS names should be bold or in color in chat list so any member can easily distinguish who is MOD rather then he/she enquire others who is MOD here? I want to complain somebody teasing me bla bla bla e.g.
