I was wondering what i can do to increase the number of my members.

So i was looking for something on Internet, and i found something interesting.

A company use it to increase the number of its fan on Facebook. I want to share it and know how to customize it on our ning's network

They have created a page and drive people toward it. When you click "like" the price goes down. And when you feel a good deal, you make your best to buy first. An easy way to recruit fans, and create a buzz around the business.

I have noticed that on my ning network i can see how many people have clicked on "i like" but i cannot know the identity. So if i want  200 likes, i can reach the number but i cannot know in details who clicked on like.

Is it possible to devellop something like this ? When people click the like button of a ning page, something increase or decrease.

yes this is interesting, would be cool to decrease membership price, but guess its custom coding with a lot of work

If you were interested in buying this later when the price is down, why would you like it when it is up? Not sure I follow the logic of this.

If that was a Ferrari and I was waiting for the price to drop I would hang off liking it because I can only like it once. If everybody thought like me then nobody would like it??

i dont agree, i would 'like' for a price drop

Okay, I reread it and anybody can buy the item. You don't have to have just 'liked' it to buy.

That makes more sense. So if you can encourage your friends to like it and then get in quick when it is down to your price you can buy it.

In fact you like and you talk about it to your friends so they can come and like to. So you expect to be the first to buy when the price will be at a fairly level according to your money.

In fact you help in creating a buzz around the brand without knowing it. People who come and like, become aware of the brand. But as far as people like, price go down and somebody, the fastest guy will buy it.
