Does anyone know the code or how I can change on the "Music Player" so it says a member has posted "audio" rather than posted "songs"?
I guess Ning still doesn't realize they have mainly professionals as clients (not teenagers) who want to create professional looking sites that appeal to other professionals...
I'm not going to even rehash my two-year long request for improvements to the Ning music player. It looks unprofessional period.
You could try searching in your Language Editor for "songs" and changing it to what you like.
Patrick is 100% correct. Using the Language Editor, search "songs" and you will have a list of items you may customize containing that word.
Thanks both Patrick and Kos; I did find that in the Language Editor and it does work, however there are a lot to change so it will take awhile- I do recall now that back when I first started using Ning, someone in the tech support on the phone did show me how to change something similar to that...
You're welcome Robert.
I love the Language Editor and am constantly *seeing* a title or box I want to tweak and customize. The next time you look at a page or a phrase, think of the Language Editor.........and what you can change it into. You'll use it more and more.
Thanks all, yes now that I see this editor, it looks like I can do much more despite what the player itself looks like- Too bad they cannot use something similar to SoundCloud!
I have another question (unrelated to the media player) that I will also post in the main forum; If you go to my site (http://www.allstarvoices.com) and in the navigation tabs you will see "Featured Voices" as well as sub tabs- Each of these will take you to different page / classification which are categorized as Male Voices, Female Voices and Multi Lingual / International Voices- I want to have members that can belong to more than 1 of these categories (Male and Int'l Voices, Female and Int'l) however I THINK I read that this is not possible and members can be in one classification only- Does anyone know how this can be done?
