I have over 500 sub support groups to my community. I would like to be able to sort the groups alphabetically so new visitors can find the group they are interested in quicker. It would be nice for it to display in the form of a list (See example below); and, even nicer if I was able to provide a brief description of the group. Is there any way this can be done?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
EXAMPLE:
[A] [B] [C] [D] [E] [F] [G] [H] [I].....ETC.

Achalasia, (pronounced /eɪkəˈleɪziə/) also known as esophageal achalasia, achalasia cardiae, cardiospasm, and esophageal aperistalsis, is an esophageal motility disorder involving the smooth muscle layer of the esophagus and the lower esophageal sphincter (LES).[1] It is characterized by incomplete LES relaxation, increased LES tone, and aperistalsis of the esophagus (inability of smooth muscle to move food down the esophagus) in the absence of other explanations like cancer or fibrosis.[2][3]

Alpha-thalassemia mental retardation syndrome (ATRX), also called alpha-thalassemia X-linked mental retardation, nondeletion type or ATR-X syndrome,[1] is a condition caused by a mutated gene. Females with this mutated gene have no specific signs or features. Male carriers tend to be moderately mentally retarded and have physical characteristics including excessively prominent lips, a depressed nasal bridge, and a small head size.[2]

Garfield,
Thanks for the reply.
While I would love to hire a creator, I personally cannot afford to do so. Our community is free to members and therefore we do not have funds for development. When I first started the community, I tried to charge for membership just so I could get help with the expenses but I could not get members to join. There are too many free options for them on the web. Many of them use YahooGroups. I happen to also be the YahooGroup owner for many of their support groups. So, I cover the expenses and spend my time trying to do the best I can.

Wow, I would appreciate it. I am not tha savy on design and coding. Like I mentioned earlier, I just do the best I can.
Yes, it is difficult in getting them to join here. My YahooGroups have been in existance since Yahoo bought out eGroups. My groups all had their start with eGroups. I have a few with over 2000 members in them. The simplicity of YahooGroups is a key to it's success. They also like the easy of uploading files to share with members. The file share function here is complicated. Members can not upload a file or create a file to share with others as easily.
Thanks again. I will look for your membership request.
