Spammers Attacking Ning Sites all Titled: for Hairstyles...

I rarely complain about having to decline spammer accounts on Ning Networks. It is what it is. But wow, this is crazy. I can barely keep up with this new influx of spammer accounts applying for Ning Networks. I receive at least 2 every hour from several Networks. They all have something about Hairstyle Promos. Anyone else?

Ning, anything we can do about this?

I have also feared that some admins were stealing email addy and sending out spam to people personal email box. I think Ning would be wise just to have email address visible to just the creators. If this is at all possible.

I have been having a huge spam problem too and it's getting out of control.

I'm getting hit too. It's unfortunate that I can't have a verify by email network anymore. Now It has to be me looking at their emails to approve them.

As the usual thing like the past few weeks, I have new sign ups to approve again. But I cannot accept it since its the usual spam issue, yummy lol.

You know what guys,this spammers effectively slows down my network new genuine sign ups. Why?, I cannot open the sign ups floodgate anymore, just like the former instant memberships.

Now I'm at the mercy of Ning notifications for new signups, hopefully notifications will come as is without delay since genuine members will be fed up with long waiting time for sign up approval.

Guys, can share some tips on how you solve this spamming issues aside from accept per invitation trick. Thanks. I don't like my network to be a spammers paradise lol..

One more thing, how did that spammers know that such network exist? Do I need to hide my website from Ning creators, so atleast spammers cannot attack my website? Any idea guys? Thanks.

I think the spammers are here inside the ning creators they are waching us. How many networks are in ning platform?

I hope there are no real spammers, l know a few on here. We creators need to make sure a spammer list is there for us all to check out. I have one on my site that other creators have helped with.
