Test mail from creators? Spam or not spam?

Before some minutes got an e-mail from creators.ning.com. Is this a spam? Was the network hacked?

Oh Eric!  I want you to know that the email and then your quick "Oh crap did I really just do that" follow up was great! You made me laugh so hard!!! Yes, unprofessional but oh so human.  I'm a solo preneur and do all of my own web design, graphics (mostly any way) and run my Ning site... I make the odd (in all senses of the word!) mistake now and then... so thank you for the laugh! It was refreshing :D
