Text Box Issues on Profile Pages

I wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing text box issues on their networks?

We have many members who are using the text box on their profile and now some members have found them at the very bottom of their profile page, under the comments wall and they are not able to drag and move them... they are like locked in place!!!

Is anyone else having this issue?... or know of any temporary problems going on or should I submit a "ticket" to Ning?

Sorry that you're having trouble! We currently have a bug around this issue. Hoping we can get it resolved without too much delay.

we don't see the black X up in the corner to even attempt to move it---?? also see no reply from Eric ..LOL

Hey, Scott. I'm still here. This isn't a bug that we have our team working on 24/7, but it's still a priority. As always, the official route is to send our team a message. Unfortunately, I don't have a workaround I can offer for this particular bug that's related to text boxes on profile pages.

(Don't quite know what people mean when they say they can't view my reply in this discussion. I can view it okay)

hey Eric.... strange but to all of us your first reply here isn't showing up, but I did get it in my email. Not sure what that's all about. lol Anyway there are text boxes on profiles that were being used at the very top of some members profiles and now they are below the comments and can't be moved. You place your mouse there like to drag it and move and nothing happens. It's like it's locked there. Is this issue being worked on by the team? I'm still going to submit a ticket. Thanks for all the updates!

I'm having the same issue on my site as well. Also when I go the 'Features Layout' there's no text boxes or any other boxes in the left side column. Just noticed this a couple of days ago. I'm hesitant on dropping any boxes or features for fear of not being able to recover them. Is Ning updating this feature or something?

At least I know this isn't only our network. I've submitted a ticket, and I know with the weekend I probably won't hear anything until Monday. I sure hope we get some info and updates on this problem and it's fixed soon ! Thanks James and good luck with your site. :)

some folks went to make a correction in their text box and now it's GONE--not even on the profile page!

i noticed this problem on two different sites i was in owners were plajurist so i watched by seeing how far they would go by the way site owners were from Athens if this helps. i have since left both sites as of last week left second one with the text box issue resetting feature s doesnt work either so it is either owners doing thing witth main css box or a hacker within a site or is simply more complicated a possible ning glitch.
