Text editor and urls conflict.

Is there any way to keep the text editor from abbreviating my urls? This makes it impossible for a full url to be copied and pasted. I have tried using the HTML editor and the Plain Text editor tool. This is the result I continuously get:

When clicked, it gets you there... but I want it copied in full text and not turned into a link.

When you post a discussion in a group the member usually uses the text editor, like in this image.

I love the Ning text editor, Scott! In my network all texts are primarily justified by a CSS code. See here.

The only thing I can think of, add quotes around the text between a href=. Like this:

<a href="http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll88/AnGella_/AnGellaDesigns/Animals/Saarlouis_Ludwigskirche_KirchenfensterBg1.png" rel="nofollow">"http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll88/AnGella_/AnGellaDesigns/Animals/Saarlouis_Ludwigskirche_KirchenfensterBg1.png"</a>
