Folks can take the Ning platform for granted if they don't frequent other social networking sites. But I have members on our site who belong to several, we are a woodworking community. And one of our members dropped a public forum post. This fella has been around the Woodworking Forums, he is a member of Woodworking Forums sponsored by big money, such as Better Homes and Gardens, Taunton Press, etc. So he knows what a good forum looks and acts like. He is very impressed with the functionality of the Ning platform. Take away his accolades about the appearance of the site, yep I can take credit for that, but only because Ning supplied me with the tools to make it so. But look at his comments regarding the functionality of the site, uploading pictures, ease of access etc.
Great job Ning, take a bow, my members are happy, which in turn makes me happy.

Thank you Ning! Thank you software developers and I cannot leave out the many members here on Creators who have helped me along the way by implementing custom coding and such to make our site nice to use as well. Thank you Creators!

If you care here is a link to Ron's Comments, but his same comments are posted below to spare you the visit to our site. I am not trying to promote our site, just wanted to share a nice post, it's nice to get these.

Quote: I have been a part of a couple of wood working forums, have visited others and see various web sites of all kinds. I continue to be impressed with "The Patriot Woodworker" for many good reasons.

First it is well organized, top to bottom, well laid out, easy to read.

Next is the colors used and how they work with each other to make a good eye experience.

Technically, the site designer has it  nailed. No hassle with attaching pictures, no difficult procedures to follow to do simple things and very well laid out, simple paths to follow to get around the site. Yes there are Ads, but they are well presented and not the annoying, flashing kind that drive you nuts.

Of course there is content and intent. There is a forum for all parts of woodworking and even an "any subject" forum. As for intent, the whole web site is dedicated to Wounded Warriors.

I'd like to say that the person or persons responsible should get an applause for a job well done!!: END QUOTE

Thank again Ning, you guys are the greatest.

John
